GIVEAWAY: Ultimate Nachos Cookbook by Nachos NY

Ultimate_Nachos_cvrFINAL_12.3.2012_1024x1024

Nachos… The ultimate bar snack, hangover stopper, and a great excuse to melt some cheese. Our friends Lee Frank and Rachel Anderson over at Nachos NY have dedicated quite a bit of their lives to the gooey snack, and have recently converted their passion into book form.

Ultimate Nachos is chock-full of over 80 recipes for nachos, guacamoles, salsas, quesos, drinks and more — while filling the void on bookshelves that sorely lack some nacho porn.

The best news… Nachos NY and Foodiggity have teamed up to give away two copies of Ultimate Nachos. The rules are simple… Head over to our post on Foodiggity’s Facebook page and let us know how you like your nachos and what guacamole means to you. Bonus points if you’re actually eating nachos and post a pic. Two winners will be chosen by an esteemed panel of judges that specialize in scrutinizing internet comments.*

So, head over to Facebook and tell us how you do nachos… There are no wrong answers. Unless you tell us that you don’t like nachos — in which case you’re dead wrong and we feel sorry for you.

Flex Mex, The Hexaflexagon Burrito by Vi Hart

After thoroughly, and quite adorably, explaining the concept of hexaflexagons — mathemusician Vi Hart is back with a follow-up. And she’s hungry.

Where before we had paper and glue for our geometry lesson, Vi now uses a tasty burrito and guacamole to reach her conclusion. That conclusion is a very sophisticated burrito-type treat, and confirmation that we should’ve paid more attention in math class.

Burritob0t, A 3D Burrito Printer

The Burritob0t, a 3D printer of sorts, is here to help fulfill all of your Tex-Mex desires. No longer will we be burdened with filling and rolling up our own burritos, or ordering the guy at Chipotle to do so.

Created by New York University ITP grad student Marko Manriquez, the prototype and its function are meant to help bring attention to the complexity of the seemingly simple burrito. And, rather than cartridges filled with cyan, magenta, and black — the Burritob0t’s contain crema, guac, and choice of salsa. Pantone fillings cost extra.

Burrito Camera Lens Wrap

The Photorito Lens Wrap, by Photojojo, is the perfect way to protect and carry your camera lenses, while expressing your love for Tex Mex. Made from super-tough Tyvex and cushioned with neoprene — use one to wrap up your telephoto, or 100mm macro. Just don’t mix up your lens burrito, with your lunch from Chipotle — as they’re probably the same weight.
