The Tortilla Towel Will Turn You Into A Giant Lazy Burrito

July 6, 2016 by Chris Durso

tortilla-towel

Stop lying down on boring rectangle towels that aren’t giant tortillas. The Tortilla Towel will add some much-needed style to your lazy day.

The five-foot towel is printed on both sides to look like a giant flour tortilla. The best part, is that the towel is versatile enough that you can be a lazy burrito, lounging torta, or a chillaxin enchilada.

The towels are currently sold out, so you’ll have to wait to be a filling. Stay tuned here.

January 21, 2015 by Chris Durso

Hard or soft? It’s a question we struggle with every Taco Tuesday. Fortunately, the Taco Shell Toaster has the answer, and that answer is an emphatic “both.”

Only have softies in the house? Simply slip that flaccid tortilla on the toaster’s shell holder, and you can finally offer some variety on taco night.

Chimichachos Are Nachos Made With Mini Chimichangas

September 24, 2014 by Chris Durso

chimichachos

Sorry, tortilla chips… you’ve been replaced. But hang your head high, you crispy triangles, as you’ve served our nachos well to this point.

Thanks to our friends over at Thrillist, there are now Chimichachos… which are nachos made with mini-chimichangas instead of our outdated chips.

Not only could this new concoction be your new favorite appetizer and/or drunk-food, but the name chimichachos is extremely fun to say. It sounds like the name of a cool luchador, or the Mexican version of The Fonz’s nephew.

chimichachos.

Piñata Cookies

April 26, 2012 by Chris Durso

This Cinco de Mayo, besides having some bad Tex-Mex and watered-down Margaritas, you can whip up a batch of Piñata Cookies. Brought to us by She Knows, the colorful cookies are a fun way to get into the spirit, without having to climb a tree, or risk getting whacked with a wiffle ball bat.

Check out more photos and the step-by-step instructions here.

Burrito Camera Lens Wrap

January 24, 2012 by Chris Durso

The Photorito Lens Wrap, by Photojojo, is the perfect way to protect and carry your camera lenses, while expressing your love for Tex Mex. Made from super-tough Tyvex and cushioned with neoprene — use one to wrap up your telephoto, or 100mm macro. Just don’t mix up your lens burrito, with your lunch from Chipotle — as they’re probably the same weight.
