This New Card Game Encourages Players To Throw Burritos At Each Other

Do you like card games? How about a friendly game of dodgeball? Are you opposed to the idea of weaponized Mexican food? If you answered “hell yes” to any of these questions, then Throw Throw Burrito is your new favorite game.

Brought to us by Matthew Inman of The Oatmeal and game designer, Elan Lee — the fun begins as a simple card game. However, unlike Poker or Bridge, the game evolves into a variation of dodgeball, where projectile burritos are involved.

Draw three burrito cards of a kind, and get ready to do battle against family members, friends, or anyone who deserves some harmless blunt force.

Throw Throw Burrito has already hit its funding goal on Kickstarter, but there’s still time to grab a few variations of the game. Good luck and happy throwing/dodging.

The Spaghetti Burrito Happened

Were you looking for the ultimate Italian/Tex-Mex fusion? No? Then you should probably look away, because today we’ll be discussing the Spaghetti Burrito.

Brought to us by the folks over at HellthyJunkFood, the culinary mash-up is actually the result of a challenge between J.P. and Julia. While Julia goes for the “spaghetti in a tortilla” approach, J.P. thinks outside the box, and uses the spaghetti as the tortilla with a meat filling.

The result… Well, anytime spaghetti can be used as a container, it’s a win-win. See how both are done below.

The World’s Smallest Breakfast Burrito Will Get You Through The Day

mini-breakfast-burrito

Although a good breakfast burrito should, at minimum, be the size of a small child — there’s something therapeutic about watching a tiny one being made.

The Mini Breakfast Burrito is brought to us by small food-makers, Walking With Giants. Watch as the tiny ingredients are cooked on a diminutive stovetop and loaded inside a minuscule tortilla. Make about a hundred, and breakfast is served.

The ‘Whopperrito’ Is The Whopper and Burrito Hybrid We Deserve

via GrubGrade

We brought this upon ourselves. Our burrito worship appears to have spawned a fast food mash-up that we may never recover from… The Whopperrito.

A misguided hybrid of a Whopper and a Burrito, Burger King is apparently trying to capitalize on our “eat anything that’s wrapped in a tortilla” phase. Fortunately, this culinary monstrosity appears to be contained within one BK location in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, aka, Ground Zero for the Burrito Apocalypse.

But, perhaps I’m being too harsh… Let’s hear from a few Twitter users on the Whopperrito.

Nah, I was right. Nice going, BK… Burritos were all some of us had left.
