The Spaghetti Burrito Happened

Were you looking for the ultimate Italian/Tex-Mex fusion? No? Then you should probably look away, because today we’ll be discussing the Spaghetti Burrito.

Brought to us by the folks over at HellthyJunkFood, the culinary mash-up is actually the result of a challenge between J.P. and Julia. While Julia goes for the “spaghetti in a tortilla” approach, J.P. thinks outside the box, and uses the spaghetti as the tortilla with a meat filling.

The result… Well, anytime spaghetti can be used as a container, it’s a win-win. See how both are done below.

“I’d like my spaghetti in donut-form,” said nobody ever. Nonetheless, Smorgasburg in Brooklyn exists, and their gimmicky food game is strong this season.

Brought to us by Pop Pasta, the spaghuts[?] appear to make noodle-eating a bit more portable, while you walk around checking out other insane food hybrids.

Smorgasburg Williamsburg opens Saturday, April 1. Smorgasburg Prospect Park opens April 2. Enjoy your spaghuts/donettis.

Most pasta servers work perfectly well, they just fail to camouflage themselves amongst all the noodles. If keeping your kitchen tools covert is important to you, there’s the Spaghetti Serving Tool.

Brought to us by Monkey Business, the Spaghetti Tool is made of durable silicone and is ‘al dente’ enough to help pick up piles of spaghetti.
