No One Knows Who Colonel Sanders Is On ‘What’s My Line?’

Imagine a time — before his mug appeared on greasy buckets worldwide — when the iconic Colonel Sanders was unrecognizable. Appearing on an episode of What’s My Line? in 1963, the ‘Head of the Southern Fried Chicken Company’ is questioned by the panel, until he’s forced to reveal his evil plan for worldwide fried chicken domination.

And although it would be no surprise if these were made from various chicken parts formed into a horrifying cookie-type treat, they are actual cookies made to look like drumsticks. Cornflakes are used to create the crispy faux skin.

‘Superhands’ Chef Cooks Chicken by Dipping Bare Hands Into Boiling Fat

Ever have a drop of boiling fat splash on you? Hurts don’t it? Well somewhere in Thailand, Kann ‘Superhands’ Trichan is laughing at you. The chef can actually immerse his hands in boiling fat, and sieve fried chicken, with no injury whatsoever.

Trichan discovered the superpower after being splashed with hot oil and showing no effect. But rather than being on display at a circus sideshow, or in a Ripley’s museum, Trichan is a tourist attraction at his stall in front of Chiang Mai Technical College.
