Chef Creates Menu Then Wears The Entire Meal On His Face

chef-face-post-header

Sure, you could present your menu on boring paper with fancy words in a tired font, or, you can get creative and present the entire meal on your face.

That’s exactly what Chef Robbie Postma, of J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam, decided to do. In collaboration with artist Robert Harrison, they’ve created MENU — actual ingredients presented on the chef’s face.

The MENU begins with vegetables and progresses through some main courses, wine, desserts and coffee. Each ingredient, down to the last coffee bean and grain, is genuine and was applied by hand.

See some of the backstory and the process involved in the video below.

Brought to us by multimedia artists, Skullmapping, is a fun animation series that unfolds right at the dinner table.

Le Petit Chef sees our tiny protagonist incorporate actual and projected tableware to deliver complete, albeit animated, meals to diners. This, after struggling with full-size ingredients, as well as having to fight off a sea monster or two.

Check out Le Petit Chef grill up some steaks and prepare a Bouillabaisse in the videos below.

This Dog Wants To Teach You How To Make Bruschetta

bruschetta-dog

Chef Crusoe isn’t your average cooking show host. That’s because hosts aren’t usually adorable canines with thick Italian accents.

In this demo, the miniature dachshund whips up the Italian appetizer known as Bruschetta. Although, Chef Crusoe is one of those who likes to eat the ingredients while he cooks, he does properly pronounces ‘bruschetta.’ Giada would be proud.

Chef, A Movie About The Pursuit of Happiness and Food Trucks

chef-trailer

Chef, a new movie by Jon Favreau, is the story of an uber-talented chef who loses his restaurant gig over creative differences, and opens a food truck. Sound familiar to any food truck drivers out there?

The story, more than anything else, encourages the idea of following your passion, and pursuing the things that make you happy. Plus, the movie is full of food porn, and it co-stars Iron Man. Enjoy the trailer… The movie actually looks pretty awesome.
