The Edible Spoon

Presentation_Image2

Plastic spoons… They’re used quickly, then discarded, only to spend the next several decades trying to decompose in some landfill. The Edible Spoon is here to help, with a neat little scooping utensil that’s 100% biodegradable and 100% edible.

Brought to us by Triangle Tree, the spoons are made mostly of organic corn and flour, and available in three flavors: Plain, Spicy and Sweet. Great… But there’s a missed opportunity here to save some forks. Bring on the edible sporks!

The Chipotle Lunch Bag That Was Once a Billboard

Chipotle, while trying to keep the burrito line moving, also does their part to limit their negative impact on the environment. A new entry into their efforts are lunch bags made from upcycled Chipotle billboards.

The material used for the billboards, a nearly indestructible waterproof polymer, actually works perfectly as a durable lunch carrier. Although the bags haven’t been tested with an actual burrito from Chipotle yet — them things are heavy.

I Am Not A Paper Cup

Approximately 58 billion non-recyclable coffee cups are disposed of every year. I Am Not A Paper Cup will help make you only appear to be part of the problem.

The ceramic cup with silicone top looks like its earth-hating paper version, but is in fact a high-quality and reusable mug. Grab one and you’ll be feeling like a do-gooder in no time. Or buy 58 billion and really make a dent.

Available at The Foodiggity Shop.
