peeps-smores

It’s officially Peeps season, which means that we need to use the squishy little chicks in as many ways as possible.

Brought to us by Delish, Peeps S’mores is one, and arguably the greatest, way to use the colorful Easter treat. Anytime s’mores is involved, it’s a good time. Even if the marshmallows stare back, judging us.

Planets, The Sun and Moon Recreated With Frying Pans

9557465

Pan Planets is a project that recreates a few well-known celestial bodies in ordinary skillets. Brought to us by Italian artists, Giuliano Antonio Lo Re and Matteo Gallinelli — the series uses water, ink, dust, coloring and creative lighting to transform the cookware.

Included in Pan Planets are Earth, Uranus, Mars, Jupiter, the sun and the moon. But a question… Is Uranus non-stick? Or, does Uranus stick? I bet it sticks. See more here.

The Sword Skillet, For Getting Medieval on Breakfast

Dost thou hath a few eggs to fry? Or, perchance thee seeks attention from the fair maiden of the kitchen? Combat Kitchenware will help battle your way through any meal. Currently a Kickstarter project, the skillet comes complete with a hilt attached for easily handling, when you must bequeath your bacon from pan to plate.

Brought to us by Morlock Enterprises, the project even offers custom sword skillets for larger donations, to suit your ‘unique culinary fighting style.’

Cross-Stitched Skillet

I’ll take my eggs sunny-side-up and intricately stitched please. The Cross-Stitched Skillet is by artist and avid sewer Severija Incirauskaite-Kriauneviciene, literally cross-stitching an iron skillet via pre-drilled holes. And Severija’s work is not limited to empty promises of breakfast — seen in her work on car doors, water cans, and shovel heads.
