Pizzeria Disgusto, A Punny Illustration Book of Italian Cuisine

Artist Michael Hacker has created a book of illustrations, celebrating Italian cuisine and creative wordplay. Pizzeria Disgusto is filled with delicious pizza, pasta and other Italian fare — only in anthropomorphic form and renamed appropriately.

Whether it’s E.T. made from spaghetti and renamed Spagh E.T., or a box of head-banging pizza called Moshpizza — the project is often reminiscent of the puns and gross-out humor of Wacky Packages.

Pizzeria Gusto is currently in Kickstarter phase, with lots of goodies available for funders. Check it out here.

This Pizza Dress Delivers The Couture

pizza-dress

Olivia Mears of Avant Geek and Taco Belle fame, is back with the fanciest Pizza Dress ever. Not only does the gown transform her into Pizzarella (her words not mine) but while lying down, the dress fans out into a whole pie.

Those wondering where they can find a Pizza Dress of their own, will just have to wear a plain-old non-pizza dress to the prom — as this is a one-of-a-kind.

See more or Mears’ awesome work on Instagram.

Cadbury Creme Egg Pizza Is Here To Help Ruin Easter

pizzahed_0

The Cadbury Creme Egg is an interesting treat. There are people that can’t wait to get their hands on the goo-filled treat, and then there are those who’ll gag at the sight of them.

So, how people will react to Cadbury Creme Egg Pizza is anyone’s guess. Brought to us by London-based pizza chain, Crust Bros, and online food delivery company, Deliveroo — the dessert pizza is topped with macerated strawberries, mascarpone, mint, halved Creme Eggs, and crunchy Mini Eggs.

The Cadbury Creme Egg Pizza is only available in London, from April 7 to 14. Thanks, Easter Bunny… and the delivery guy.

Pizza Hut Now Makes Sneakers That’ll Order A Pizza For You

pizza-hut-shoes

Ordering a pizza used to be an arduous process of picking up a phone, dialing said phone, and then speaking to another human. Then came apps, that take nothing more than a push of a button… but that became boring and isn’t footwear.

Thankfully, there’s now Pie Tops [ugh]. The Pizza Hut-branded sneakers could not only help improve your sad hoops game, but at the push of a button on the footwear’s tongue, you can order a pizza. The button works via Bluetooth and in tandem with an app that stores your default order.

So, once you’re done getting schooled on the court, you can simply reach over, give your sneaker a squeeze, and treat the team to a pie. No mention yet if the Pie Tops will be available for a mass release, but a few are being offered to help celebrate Pizza Hut’s 1st anniversary as the official pizza of the NCAA.
