These Sneakers Made From Mushrooms Are The Best Type of Foot Fungus

Mushrooms actually make for a beautiful leather. So, it was only a matter of time before Mushroom Sneakers were available and the foot fungus jokes could begin.

Brought to us by Nat-2 and mushroom leather designer, Nina Fabert, the footwear is made from a certain type of fungus called ‘tinder sponge.’ Besides being totally stylin’, the fungus footwear is organic, vegan, anti-bacterial, gluten and chemical-free.

There’s no mention yet as to how you can acquire a pair… however, we can start making fun of the hipsters that would probably wear these at anytime.

Run On Dunkin’ For Real With Dunkin’ Donuts Running Shoes

Dunkin’ Donuts recently teamed up with Saucony Shoes to help make their slogan a bit more literal.

Fans of their coffee and running can literally “Run on Dunkin'” with the Saucony X Dunkin’ Kinvara 9. The shoes are adorned with Dunkin’ Donut’s signature colors, sprinkles and a donut on the heel. Step into a pair, and you’ll be stepping on a cup of coffee on the insole. Check them out here.

Adidas Made Sneakers For Oktoberfest That Will Repel The Finest German Beer and Puke

If you’ll be attending the ultimate beer festival, Oktoberfest, then you’ll need the proper footwear. Firstly, the shoes will need to be comfortable. Bonus, if they’re also beer and puke repellent.

Adidas, seeing a need in the market, has created München Oktoberfest, the proper footwear whilst drinking in Bavaria.

Not only do the kicks provide immediate brand recognition, but each pair is made with premium materials and a special DPBR coating (Durable Puke and Beer Repellent). They also include fancy stitching inspired by lederhosen, a pattern on the inside to match traditional Oktoberfest tablecloths, and “Prost,” which you should say before you shove that giant beer into your face. Adidas Sneakers Designed By Female Artists For Each of The 50 U.S. States

New Jersey Pizza, by Jen Mussari

Food and footwear, together again. This time, Adidas and Refinery 29 brought the two together, while celebrating women and the 50 U.S. States.

The BOOST the Nation campaign is an art series for women, by women. Female artists were commissioned to design an Adidas UltraBOOST X that captures the essence of a U.S. State. Although all 50 don’t use food as inspiration, many of them celebrate the states’s rich culinary history, with food as the uniting factor.

All 50 are up for auction here. Proceeds will go to support Women Win — the global leader in gender equality though sport.
