How To Make A Fire-Breathing Dragon Fly Out Of Your Cake

dragon-cake

Would you like a fire-breathing dragon to fly out of your castle cake? There’s an app for that.

Brought to us by How To Cook That, their Surprise Cake app will help animate any of your baked goods. So, if your kid’s cake is lacking any “wow” factor, simply install the app on your iPhone or iPad, then place the marker where you’d like the action to happen.

When viewed through your mobile device, the cake will appear to have a genuine stone interior, and a fire-breathing dragon will fly out out of it. No worries… The dragon eventually flies back in, so the birthday boy can blow out the candles. Coolest. Birthday. Ever.

iCup, An Apple Logo-Shaped Coffee Mug With USB Heater

1

If you’re an Apple person, who’s also caffeine-addicted, the iCup is here to help continue your brand loyalty. Created by Vancouver-based artist Tomislav Zvonarić, the Apple logo-shaped mug will not only hold your coffee while you work, but it also plugs in via USB to keep warm.

Sorry, Apple geeks… The iCup is currently only a concept. You’ll just have to continue drinking tepid coffee while you stare at your iMac. And, please do not ask me to spell iCup.

App Icons That Look Good Enough To Eat

Would you like to induce hunger every time you look at your iPhone? There’s an app for that.

Well, there’s at least a series of mobile app icons, by CreativeDash Design Studio, that are made to look like various foods. So much so, that if you were to skip lunch, we might find you licking your phone — more so than usual.

Now, if only a press of the little square donut icon made a real donut pop out of our phone. Get on that, CreativeDash.

Guy Pours Beer From iPad

Just when you thought that the iPad couldn’t get any cooler, some guy poured beer from one at Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany. But before you go looking for the beer-pouring app — keep in mind that this was done by German magician Simon Pierro. Now, is there an app for a roasted chicken in there?

Want A Terrible Pizza? There’s An App For That

Domino’s has come up with a seemingly fun way to create and order one of their pizza-ish products. Domino’s Pizza Hero iPad app allows users to spread digital sauce, sprinkle pixels of cheese, and add toppings. All while advancing through increasingly difficult levels of pizza-making, and scoring points for speed and accuracy.

And if you’re feeling adventurous, or are heavily stoned, you can choose to have the pizza that you’ve just created delivered to your door. Whoa.
