A Pizza Box That Turns Into A Smokable Pipe Because Munchies

April 14, 2016 by Chris Durso

Marijuana and pizza go together like peanut butter and jelly, or any other combo that’ll help curb munchies. The problem is, that if you wait until you’re already high to order the pizza, that thirty-minute delivery time can seem like an eternity — a groovy, groovy eternity.

Mobile app, Push For Pizza, is here to help, by providing a pizza box with a built-in pipe. So, the user can place their pizza order at the push of a button, knowing that most of their supplies will be there at the same time. A small section of the box can be removed and folded into pipe-form, while the white anti-box-crusher can be attached as the bowl.

The box is currently just a prototype. So, until it’s available for mass production, plan accordingly.

A KFC Bucket of Chicken That’s Also A Printer

July 29, 2015 by Chris Durso

We’ve all been there… We’re going to town on a whole bucket o’ chicken, and we’d like to capture this moment for posterity.

The Memories Bucket is here to help. As part of their 60th Anniversary in Canada, KFC has created the bucket printer to capture those fleeting greasy moments.

Chicken-eating historians can take a picture with their smartphones and, via Bluetooth, have a Polaroid-type photo released from the bucket. Please wipe off your hands before handling your photos.

Fart Code, An App That Scans Foods To Determine Its Fart Power

June 6, 2014 by Chris Durso

fart-code

Sure, you could easily scan your food to find out its caloric and gluten content. But what if you’re a conscience shopper who monitors your foods’ gaseous properties?

Fart Code is a handy little mobile app that’ll scan the bar code of foods, and let you know the amount of flatulence you could expect from them. Although this seems a bit childish, Fart Code actually uses a sophisticated algorithm to determine how toxic a fart would be, based on the food’s ingredients.

The fartometer, as it’s called, then gives you a rating and appropriate fart noise and vibration. Just remember, that your iPhone on ‘silent,’ could be deadly.

LIVR, A Social Network That Is Only Accessible When You’re Drunk

March 10, 2014 by Chris Durso

livr-app

Move over, Facebook and Twitter… You’re just full of baby pictures and sober people.

LIVR, a new social media concept, looks to change all of that, with an app that can only be accessed when drunk. The app comes equipped with a breathalyzer that will only grant access to those who provide a worthy BAC.

And, if that concept does not seem ridiculous enough — picture a bar full of drunk assholes blowing into their phone, so they can let everyone in their network know how drunk they are and that they love you, man.

Features of LIVR include a Truth or Dare game, Drunk Dial of another random LIVR user, and a Blackout feature that will erase all evidence of your night.

Unsurprisingly co-founded by two young Brooklynites who regularly partake in what they call “drink and thinks,” they currently seek funding for the app. Please watch the video below, and let us know how many times your eyes roll in the process…

UPDATE: We were hoping that this would turn out to be an elaborate hoax — you know, for humanity’s sake. And indeed it is. Please go about your regularly scheduled drunk Facebooking.

Pop Dongle, An iPhone Attachment That Emits The Smell of Popcorn

December 12, 2013 by Chris Durso

The problem with your fancy iPhone and hundreds of apps, is that they don’t provide smell-o-vision or aroma therapy of any kind. Pop Dongle is here to help solve this real world problem.

Brought to us by Pop Secret, the iPhone attachment is part of a game app called, Poptopia. The smiley little Pop Dongle will release the popcorn smell as you complete tasks throughout the game — namely popping popcorn.
