Adidas Made Sneakers For Oktoberfest That Will Repel The Finest German Beer and Puke

If you’ll be attending the ultimate beer festival, Oktoberfest, then you’ll need the proper footwear. Firstly, the shoes will need to be comfortable. Bonus, if they’re also beer and puke repellent.

Adidas, seeing a need in the market, has created München Oktoberfest, the proper footwear whilst drinking in Bavaria.

Not only do the kicks provide immediate brand recognition, but each pair is made with premium materials and a special DPBR coating (Durable Puke and Beer Repellent). They also include fancy stitching inspired by lederhosen, a pattern on the inside to match traditional Oktoberfest tablecloths, and “Prost,” which you should say before you shove that giant beer into your face. The Undead Hasselhoff, A Burger Tribute to The Hoff

undead-hasselhoff

When he’s not being immortalized in popsicle form, David Hasselhoff is actually the inspiration for many other food creations. This time, The Hoff receives a tribute via burger, with the Undead Hasselhoff.

Created by Zombie Burger in Des Moines, Iowa, the burger is loaded with a number of popular food items from Germany — where Hasselhoff is inexplicably a pop-music icon. Pretzel-breaded bratwursts are the buns, with spicy mustard and a soft pretzel on top.

And, because this is The Hoff we’re talking about… there’s loads of extra cheese.

Beer Barrel Bedroom

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Ostbevern, Germany, dig beer, and enjoy being properly oaked — The Beer Barrel Bedroom is here to help. The bed is actually made from a genuine 19th-century beer barrel that was in use until 1995. And, because we’re in Germany, the bed is only part of an entire beer-themed suite. And there’s free Wi-Fi, whoohoo. Book your beer room here, and don’t forget the Beerdeaux.

Volkswagen Sausage and Ketchup Exists

German automaker Volkswagen is apparently also in the sausage and condiment business. While Jettas and GTIs continue to roll down the assembly line at their main plant in Wolfsburg, Germany — the makers of the “people’s car” are also producing and packaging their very own currywurst and ketchup.

Although not available for the worldwide masses, the currywurst and ketchup are available at most German VW factories, and visitors to Autostadt.
