As an adult, our dream is to be able to eat pizza at home in a onesie, without a napkin in sight. Domino’s is making our dreams come true with a totally-wipeable and pizza-themed Adult Onesie.

The loungewear was made available in the U.K., and inspired by New Year’s Day, their biggest pizza-consuming day of the year. Although, we can’t help but think that it would’ve been easier to print a giant pizza on them for camouflage, rather than using that fancy sauce-repelling fabric.

Press Button, Get Pizza With The Domino’s ‘Easy Order’ Button

Domino's+2

At the rate we’re going with pizza delivery technology, we’ll soon be able to order a pizza, just by thinking about one. However, for now, we’ll still have to lift our finger and press a button.

The Domino’s Easy Order Button is the latest entry in their user-friendly, no-human-interaction way of ordering their pizzas. The user need only to register their delivery info on Domino’s website, to be drunk with pizza-ordering power.

Currently available only in the UK — most of us will still have to order via Twitter, text, or will actually have to talk to a human. Or, we can try this mind-reading thing… Domino’s, pizza, now.

Domino’s Now Makes A Pizza With A Fried Chicken Crust

Adding to their collection of pizza-like products, Domino’s is now offering something called Specialty Chicken.

Actually, the item is less of a pizza, and more like a collection of breaded chicken parts bunched together and covered with pizzaesque toppings. Those toppings include; Crispy Bacon & Tomato, Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple, Classic Hot Buffalo and Sweet BBQ Bacon.

It’s all part of Domino’s continued reign of culinary terrorism, as well as their ‘Failure is an option‘ campaign. It’s their first major addition to the Domino’s menu since Handmade Pan Pizza — the last time they opted for failure.

DVDs That Look And Smell Like Pizza

Domino’s Brazil has come up with a set of DVDs that’ll make you want some pizza to go with that movie. Partnering with a few video rental stores in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro, the DVDs are printed with a thermal ink that, at first glance, appears to be a standard label.

When warmed by the heat of your DVD player, the discs will reveal the look and smell of a real pizza — which is more than we can say about an actual Domino’s pizza. Please enjoy this video…

How To Order a Pizza with a Computer in 1974

pizz-computer-1974

Even in 1974, our laziness and yearning for pizza knew no bounds. So, for the first “high-tech sociolinguistic experiment” of its kind, computer scientists Jerome (J.J.) Jackson and John Eulenberg of Michigan State University’s Artificial Intelligence Laboratory developed a system for ordering a pizza with a computer.

Using type-to-speech conversion, a phone hooked up to an old-school modem attempted its first order with Domino’s. Lucky for our scientists, Domino’s lost patience for the robot voice and long awkward pauses, and hung up. Eventually, Mr. Mike’s Pizza took the order for a 16″ pie with mushrooms, pepperoni, ham, and sausage. Success!!
