The Stormtrooper Helmet Cake Isn’t Short on Flavor

May 18, 2017 by Chris Durso

Imperial Stormtroopers may have had a hard time seeing through their helmets — evidenced by their shooting — but the head-protectors do make for a pretty cake.

The Stormtrooper Helmet Cake is brought to us by Yolanda Gampp from How To Cake It. The inside is chocolate, possibly cloned from another cake, with a white fondant shell. May the fork be with you.

Avocado Cake With A Chocolate Pit

May 3, 2017 by Chris Durso

The Avocado Cake is brought to us by Yolanda Gampp of How To Cake It. The actual cake part is green-dyed vanilla, with green buttercream icing, and a realistic fondant shell.

The best part, however, could be the pit. Unlike real avocado pits that are a nuisance, and need to be removed with extreme force, this version is an easily-removable ball of chocolate.

This Valentine’s Day, while we’re being inundated with heart-shaped everything, let’s take a moment to remember what our vital chest organ actually looks like.

Yolanda Gampp, from How To Cake It, is here to provide a delicious visual. The Human Heart Valentine’s Cake is perfect for your sweetheart… Especially if they’re a cardiologist or a bit demented.

Here’s A Realistic Brain Cake To Help You Feel Like A Zombie

October 12, 2015 by Chris Durso

It’s Monday, so you’re probably still recovering from last night’s Walking Dead Season 6 premiere. If you DVR’d it, I won’t give anything away, other than there’s a whole buttload of zombies. Like, an entire buttload.

To help celebrate the event, Yolanda Gampp of How To Cake It made a Walking Dead Brain Cake. Made with a red velvet base, Yolanda created the brain tissue part with rolled fondant. Raspberry jam was then used to make it extra gory/delicious. CAAAAKKEE!!
