Here at Foodiggity, we don’t use the term “hero” very often. However, when a bride decides to use donuts instead of flowers in her bouquet, we say, “get that woman a cape.”
The sweet arrangements were made possible by Australian bakery, Dessert Boxes, after they ran a contest to find a willing bride. Paige Kirk was the blushing, dessert-laden bride, along with her bridesmaids, who also carried donut bouquets.
No mention what the wedding cake looked like, but honestly, who cares? Mazal tov!
When ordinary flowers won’t do, there’s now Gelato Flowers. Brought to us by i Creamery in Sydney, Australia — the flowers are made possible by layering colorful gelato over and over again on to a cone.
The best part, is that they may last even longer than real roses. Just try not to admire it too much, or you’ll have a colorful trail running down your arm.
