Doritos Roses Are Nacho Average Valentine’s Day Gift

doritosroses

The obligatory day of love fast approaches and, at the time of this writing, there may be no better way to express yourself, than with a bunch of long-stemmed Doritos.

Doritos Canada is offering delivery of their nacho chips, carefully arranged into something that makes it look like you care. The catch… they are only available in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. And, they’re the canuck-friendly ketchup-flavored chips.

The good news… those outside of Canada can make their own by scouring a Doritos bag for a few curly chips. That way, you can make a bouquet of Cool Ranch, to let your valentine know that it’s getting serious.

A Cheesy Love Story, The Crowdsourced Doritos Ad They’d Rather You Not See

The Doritos Super Bowl Commercial contest is upon us. Crowdsourced commercials, made by aspiring filmmakers and comedians, are saturating your YouTube and Facebook feeds as we speak, vying for your votes.

Sum of Us starts out with the same comedic zest and Doritos love that we tend to see from other entries. This commercial however, although thoroughly awesome, eventually squelches our notion that Doritos are made from unicorn tears and horse whinnies.

Now, please put down the Doritos and watch the video below. Then you can find out more about the Sum of Us cause here.

Pizza Hut Makes A Pizza With Doritos For Crust Now

Not to be outdone by Taco Bell’s egregious use of Doritos, or Papa John’s recent pizza hate-crimes — Pizza Hut Australia has unleashed the Doritos Crunchy Crust Pizza.

The Hut’s trademark cheese-stuffed crust is complemented by a topping of Doritos scraps and cheddar cheese. This can be applied to any pizza, so the possibilities are endless. Take that, Papa!

Christmas Tree-Shaped Doritos Exist

Doritos, which are traditionally triangle or large crumb-shaped, just aren’t Christmas-y enough. Luckily, Japan is on the case, and will be releasing a Christmas tree-shaped version of the corn chip.

Officially-titled Doritos Rock’n White Corn Cream Stew, the chips will not only be colored green, but are also corn soup-flavored for some reason. The chips will be released only in Japan on November 17th.
