Peeps Cereal Exists

Just when you thought it was safe to enjoy a non-Peep fueled morning — Peeps Cereal has been unleashed.

The painfully unnecessary cereal borrows the colors and flavors of the squishy treats, but there isn’t a cute bunny or chick anywhere to be found. Someone at Kellogg’s must’ve forgotten that the only reason folks eat Peeps is for their squishiness, rough sugar armor, and how Peeps stare at us lovingly before we bite their heads off.

Either way, the Peeps Cereal does come with marshmallows — so they’re like Froot Loops crossed with Lucky Charms crossed with a cereal company that hates you. Enjoy.

Artist Squeezing and Smashing Perfect Foods Is Oddly Satisfying

squishing-peeps

Have you ever looked at a perfectly-manufactured food item, and wanted nothing more than to smash the living hell out of it?

Artist Mar Cuervo channels this pent-up aggression, and unleashes it on various desserts and other vulnerable food items. The project titled “Destroyer” is a series of short GIFs that first displays a food, just asking to be annihilated.

Enter Mar’s hand, and the chaos begins. Check out a few below and over at the artist’s website here.

Kim Kardashian Butt Cake Pop

kk_cake-pops

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or have the coveted Kardashian Block Tool* on your Facebook feed, then you’ve surely seen Kim Kardashian’s attempt to “break the internet” with her ass. Luckily, the internet not only prevailed, but responded quickly with a series of scathing memes.

Lou Lou P’s Delights then celebrated victory in cake pop form, with an enormous-bottomed and impossibly-waisted likeness of KK. Lou Lou P’s does offer their apologies for adding any attention to this matter. As they’ve stated it, “it had to be done…didn’t it?”

Yes, it did… Now lets #breaktheinternet with this cake pop.

*may or may not exist, but should.

Models Covered in Sweets Test The Boundaries of What’s Sexy and Hunger-Inducing

keith-allen-1

Attractive and well-lit models always make for a successful photo shoot. As does some yummy food, styled to perfection. But when combining the two… how far can this be taken before your photos are void of sexuality and no longer make the viewer hungry?

Photographer Keith Allen Phillips recently tested these boundaries, with Messy — a photo series that merges the inherent sexuality of an attractive model with some well-placed junk foods.

By combining the two — in some cases making the models unrecognizable — we’re left to wonder if this series is still sexy, hunger-inducing, or just plain gratuitous. Thoughts?
