What could better than cake? Perhaps a cake that messes with our feeble minds by changing color before our very eyes.
The illusion is made possible by an icing and airbrushing technique… not the work of fairies and unicorns as we were hoping. Check it out… let us know if your mind asplodes.

There’s a print project coming up, and you need to match a color to your smoothie… we’ve all been there. Thankfully, art director Hedvig A Kushner created this fun project, in which he matches fruit and vegetable mixtures to a PMS color swatch.
The project, Pantone Smoothies, is not only a fun color study — but Hedvig was also nice enough to layout the ingredients, along with an easy-to-follow recipe for each. Check out more below and over at Pantone Smoothies.

Hunger has met its match with The Pantone Café. Located on the promenade of the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the pop-up café color-codes everything, from the food labels and napkins, to the tables and coffee cups.
Craving a PANTONE 15-5534 Salad, or a PANTONE 19-1111 Black Coffee? The colorful café will be open for business until September 9th, 2015.

Photographer Emily Blincoe likes to arrange things neatly. Lucky for us, she also likes to take pictures, and documents her careful arrangements for all of us to enjoy.
There’s something very comforting about consistency in color and pattern — evidenced by a deconstructed bowl of Fruity Pebbles, a perfectly-segmented pizza, or consistent pickles. Nothing like consistent pickles.
See more below, and other neatly-arranged objects at Blincoe’s Instagram.
