Leaning Tower of Pasta

If you’d like a fun, gravity-defying way to store your spaghetti — The Leaning Tower of Pasta is here to help.

Made to look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, not only will the large ceramic vessel store your long pastas, but the cork top has a measuring device to help ration out the perfect portions.

Have some friends over for pasta night, and they won’t be able to resist acting like tourists, while they pretend to hold up your pasta tower. That should be fun for about three minutes. Check it out here.

I Scream For Spaghetti Ice Cream

spaghetti-ice-cream-1

Hot spaghetti has been done to death… The frozen stuff is where it’s at. Spaghetti-Eis is a product of Germany that’s actually been around since the ’60s.

Although it’s available in a variety of flavor combos, the standard version is made from vanilla ice cream pushed through a potato ricer, strawberry jam as marinara, and coconut flakes as parmesan. Missed opportunity… Donut hole meatballs.

Pizzaghetti, Pizza and Spaghetti-Flavored Slushies

pizzaghetti

Pizza and spaghetti go together as well as…well… pizza and spaghetti. However, if you try to capture those flavors artificially and serve them in slushie form, then not so much.

Quebec-based convenience store Couche-Tard wants to test this theory, and your gag reflex, with Pizzaghetti — a dual-sided slushie station that dispenses pizza-flavored on one side and spaghetti-flavored on the other. No mention if they do big gulps.

Rainbow Pasta

Rainbow-Pasta

It’s Pasta Night… Again?!? But rather than bore the kids with beige spaghetti for the third time this week — the least you could do is add some much-needed color. Rainbow Pasta is brought to us by gimmesomeoven over at Quick Dish. The multi-colored pasta is relatively easy to make… Assuming that you can boil water and own a few ziplock bags. Recipe and technique here.

S’mores Spaghetti

Summer is just about over. But that doesn’t mean S’mores season has to end — we just need to be creative. Fortunately, Nick from DudeFoods.com does that kind of out-of-the-box thinking for us. Combining his love of making campfire S’mores with some molecular gastronomy, Nick has created S’mores Spaghetti.

Using the usual suspects, along with a syringe and some fancy food science, Nick created two sets of noodles — chocolate and marshmallow. To finish the S’mores effect, graham crackers are crushed and sprinkled over the top — no campfire required. Bring on the Fall!
