Welcome To The New Foodnited States

July 6, 2017 by Chris Durso

Look who’s got a new home. The Foodnited States, once part of the Foodiggity Shop, has finally struck out on its own with FoodnitedStates.com.

The new site is full of our Foodnited States merchandise — t-shirts, stickers posters and magnets. To help get the party started, we’re having a Launch Special. Use code GIMMEFREE, and your entire first order ships free of charge.*

The Foodnited States also has its own Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. So make sure to follow us there for news, updates, and pretty pictures.

If you don’t see your Foodnited State available yet, hit our contact page and let us know about it… we’d love to hear from you. Thanks for taking a look.

These Edible Food Puns Will Help Express Your Love

January 27, 2016 by Chris Durso

This Valentine’s Day… Why express yourself with a folded piece of cardstock, or candies that don’t form sentences?

Food artist, Marie Saba, knows how to get the point across, with a series of love notes formed with cookies and various foodstuffs.

Featured over at Instagram, #FoodValentines is a fun exercise in food-styling and wordplay. Try a few of your own, and save yourself a walk down the card aisle. See more below.

These Food Pun Greeting Cards Will Help Get The Point Across

December 22, 2015 by Chris Durso

When you just don’t have the words, or you’d rather express yourself via a folded piece of cardstock, these punny greetings cards are here to help.

Brought to us by Brooklyn-based Greet ‘N’ Potatoes [nice!], each card is food or beverage-themed, and contains letter-pressed illustrations by Merrily Grashin.

Whether you’re trying to offer season’s greetings, express your feelings to a loved one, or apologize for screwing up — skip the face-to-face and let the card say it for you.

Check out more here.

Play With Your Food, A Series of Very Punny Food Photos

December 9, 2015 by Chris Durso

Jelly Bean Burrito

We’re big fans of playing with your food. Puns kinda rule too. Therefore, artist Lizzie Darden is one of our new favorite people — having created a punny masterwork with Play With Your Food.

The photo series has a little fun with some food items — often with some creative wordplay or, at times, getting a bit too literal. Either way, I’d like a Jelly Bean Burrito, pronto.

Fun Food Facts Presented With Adorable Cartoons and Puns

September 10, 2015 by Chris Durso

Raw coffee beans are green.

What better way to learn fun facts about food, than with cartoons and clever puns. That wasn’t a question… there is in fact no better way.

Food For Thought, by artist Siow Jun, gives us a lesson in food, while providing some eye candy and clever wordplay. Who knew that avocados are made up almost entirely of fat. That wasn’t a question either… we will not have you talking bad about avocados around here.

Please enjoy some learning and cartoons below, or over at Jun’s Behance site.

Almost all of the calories in avocados come from fat.

Affogato is Italian for ‘drowned’.
