Halloween and the raiding of your kids’ candy bags is upon us. And, lest we think that our only concern should be the high sugar intake, this video may truly scare you this Halloween.

Brought to us by animator Daniella Urdinlaiz — the cartoon goes on to explain, rather apologetically, that some of the most popular Halloween candies contain ingredients far worse than a little tooth-decaying sugar.

Olympic athletes might look and feel better than you do — but according to this photo series by stylist Sarah Parker and photographer Michael Bodiam, they probably don’t eat better. The series shows a typical meal for athletes, as suggested by Olympian nutritionist Dan Benardot, recreated with its components meticulously separated and arranged.

Although servings usually exceed two thousand calories — the “food for fuel” regimen keeps the meals pretty strict and relatively bland. So, enjoy your burgers and nachos tonight while you watch our athletes burning off all of that dry toast, and whatever that green stuff is.
