Every so often, a movie or television show contains a beverage that becomes as iconic as the protagonist who’s drinking it. Cocktails of Film, Literature and T.V., by Henry Hargreaves’, turns the beverage into the star of the show.

The photo series uses Hargreaves’ signature aesthetic, perfectly-styled cocktails, and a few props. The scene brings the viewer back to a favorite movie, book or television episode — without necessarily missing the people who drink them.

Ben & Jerry’s Big Lebowski Ice Cream Doesn’t Actually Exist, But Should

It would seem that everyone and their grandmother is getting a Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream flavor these days. So why not create a frozen tribute to one of the greatest characters in cinematic history, The Big Lebowski?

And think of how good White Russian ice cream would be, surrounding The Dude’s balls. Wait, never mind.

This Coffee Cup Abides

Regardless of his impressive body of work, or whatever the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences might think, The Big Lebowski is by far Jeff Bridges’ crowning achievement — and the Blue Moose in Wisconsin abides.

The highly quotable movie has found a place on the convenience store’s coffee cups. Making reference to The Dude’s precious White Russians, “Careful, Man! There’s a beverage here!” will have fans of Lebowski giggling, and those not in on the joke indifferently shaking their head. Sort of like the movie itself.
