woodblock

Sure, we’ve teased you with an inedible chocolate-scented iPhone case before. But this is the real deal — a genuine Chocolate iPhone Case.

Brought to us by Portland-based Woodblock Chocolate and iPhone accessory maker Grove, the candy bars will hug the corners of and protect your iPhone 5 or 5S.

That is of course if these chocolate cases were for sale, which they’re not. There we go teasing again, sorry.

App Icons That Look Good Enough To Eat

egg

Would you like to induce hunger every time you look at your iPhone? There’s an app for that.

Well, there’s at least a series of mobile app icons, by CreativeDash Design Studio, that are made to look like various foods. So much so, that if you were to skip lunch, we might find you licking your phone — more so than usual.

Now, if only a press of the little square donut icon made a real donut pop out of our phone. Get on that, CreativeDash.

An iPhone Case With A Popsicle on it Exists

icephone

Behold, the icePhone — an inexplicable iPhone case with the likeness of a popsicle on it. And, surprise-surprise, it’s brought to us by Japan.

Luckily, there’s a bite taken out of the fake frozen treat, so it won’t block the camera lens and flash. Just in case you’d like to take a picture of the people pointing and laughing at your popsicle phone. Available in double popsicle form and crunchy.

An App That’ll Have You Smelling Meat While Eating Something Else

Screen shot 2013-10-03 at 10.13.48 PM

Want to enjoy the satisfying smell of meat, even when you’re eating something else? There’s an app for that.

Brought to us by Japanese company Scentee, is something called Hana Yakiniku or ‘Nose Grilled Meat.’ It’s an app accompanied by a scent cartridge for your smartphone. When prompted on the screen, your smartphone will emit the scent of a meat.

The rationale for this, is that the aroma of meats will help satiate the eater, when they’re actually dining on something that may not be as caloric and meaty. Japan, you just keep being you.
