The Popcorn Machine Helmet Will Change Movie-Going Forever

The problem with eating popcorn at the movies, is that it leaves no hands free for other snacking, or to point at the movie screen and yell.

Engineer, Simone Giertz, is here to change all of that, with the Popcorn Machine Helmet. Teaming up with Adam Savage, formerly of Mythbusters, the popcorn-feeder starts to come together after a brainstorm via Skype.

When it’s complete, we have a handy contraption that will help feed the user popcorn — while simultaneously leaving your pointing hand free, and pissing off anyone sitting behind you.

Stanley Cup Popcorn Maker

Of all the things hockey players do with the Stanley Cup — such as drinking beer from it, using it to bathe a small child, or making jell-o — someone’s had to have eaten some popcorn out of it.

A Volkswagen Covered in Popcorn

Ditch the fancy paint job and consider covering your ride with fluffy popcorn. That’s what a few art students from The Braunschweig University of Art were recently thinking, when they covered a Volkswagen with popcorn.

Whether the car has completely been consumed by birds yet, we’re not sure, but each kernel was adhered to the VW with hot glue gun. It just needs a buttering every few months.
