Even Marvel Superheroes Have A Cookbook

Stan-Lee-Presents-The-Mighty-Marvel-Superheroes-Cookbook

At the time of this writing, there are no fewer than 2,332 superhero movies currently in production. So, it only makes sense that some of our superhero friends would have their own cookbook. Behold, The Mighty Marvel Superheroes’ Cookbook.

The cookbook contains a few meals perfect for helping to fuel the body for some web-slinging and shield-throwing — such as Spider-Man’s amazing “Chocolate Web Pancakes” and The Hulk’s “Hulkburgers.” Because if anyone knows how to compose the perfect meal, it’s going to be a human spider and a giant green rage monster. Check out the vintage cookbook here.

There Ain’t No Party Like A Bug Cupcake Party

In what seems like a good way to help kill an overstayed food trend, an insect cupcake party was recently held. The bug-fest was to help celebrate the release of The Insect Cookbook in The Netherlands. The cookbook is infested with recipes, where bugs are the main source of protein — or gross-out factor, depending on what camp you’re in.

And not to be outdone by its miniature versions, the party also boasted an attempt at the world’s largest grasshopper cake. Yes, with actual grasshoppers included.

The Cookbook That Turns Into a Lasagna

The problem with most cookbooks, is that they aren’t food. German firm Korefe solves that problem with The Real Cookbook — a special edition made of pasta, and containing one lasagna recipe. And how convenient — the book is the pasta layers. Simply open it up and follow the instructions, one page at a time.
