Burgers For The Blind, Braille Buns Created With Sesame Seeds

To promote the fact that their menus are available in braille, South African fast food chain Wimpy created fifteen “braille burgers.” Sesame seeds were meticulously placed on burger buns to read “100% Pure Beef Burger Made for You,” and given to a few sight-disabled people to help “see their food,” and enjoy some lunch.

The Darth Vader Burger and Other Jedi-Related Food Crimes

What we can only hope is the work of some dastardly photoshoppers, Belgian fast food chain Quick is apparently unveiling a line of burgers to tie in with the 3D release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Haven’t we suffered enough?

Trying to get the point across — perhaps a bit too hard — that the force has a dark side, the Dark Vador [?!?] Burger’s bun is actually black. And I can’t even begin to imagine what that is on the Jedi Burger. But perhaps it’s appropriate that the Star Wars prequels are now literally represented as shit sandwiches.

Denny’s Puts Mac ‘n Cheese on a Burger Now

It’s official… Denny’s is trying to kill us all. As if a grilled cheese stuffed with mozzarella sticks wasn’t enough, Denny’s has accepted their own challenge in the ongoing grosser-than-gross contest, with the Mac ‘n Cheese Big Daddy Patty Melt. Try ordering that with a straight face.

Part of a new menu focusing on all things cheesy — Denny’s constructed this monstrosity by topping a burger with Mac ‘n Cheese, melted cheddar cheese and zesty Frisco sauce on grilled potato bread. With fries, you are staring at 1690 calories, and much shame.
