What Girl Scout Cookies Would Look Like If They Were Evil Treats

badcookies

All year, we anticipate seeing those adorable little Girl Scouts in front of the supermarket, peddling their delicious cookies. But what if, instead of filling our lives and bellies with joy, Girl Scout Cookies were made made to spread misery and despair?

Artist Gemma Correll provides a visual on this unfortunate scenario, with Bad Girl Scout Cookies. Whether your boss forces you to buy a few boxes of their daughter’s Drag-A-Longs or Soylent Clusters — at least you’ll be helping to teach these young women some responsibility and entrepreneurism. Even if it’s at the expense of your colon.

This Wholesome Looking Woman Creates The Most Nightmarish Desserts

christine-mcconnell

Photographer/model/baker Christine McConnell may appear innocent enough, with the whole 50s housewife thing going on. But behind the scenes lurks a baker with a love of the macabre.

From killer waffle cones to a face hugger sugar cookies, McConnell produces desserts that would make any movie monster or serial killer proud. Christine does occasionally break away from the creepy stuff, producing dishes and cakeworks that are downright gorgeous.

Check out more of McConnell, aka Foodiggity’s new bestie, over at Instagram.

Coffee Cups of The World, A Photo Series of Beautiful Takeaway Cups

Go Get Em Tiger, Los Angeles

As most of you may not realize — because there’s always that same green mermaid on your coffee — is that takeaway coffee cups are often an exercise in minimalist beauty and sharp graphic design.

Artist Henry Hargreaves sees the aesthetic appeal in these disposable items, and has documented drinking vessels from around the globe, with Coffee Cups of The World.

The series takes us through this often overlooked art form — from the minimalist approach, to the hard sell of garish colors or a humorous cartoon.
