The Robot Tea Infuser Is Here To Help

robot-tea-infuser

Robots… They fetch our beer, slice our meat, and one day they will destroy us all. Until then, the Robot Tea Infuser is here to serve. Simply fill it with tea, submerge, and let it hold on for dear life while it steeps.

Your tea should be ready long before the robot develops self-awareness and decides to kill you. New at The Foodiggity Shop.

An Entire 12-Course Meal In A Can

1

Would you like to dine all fancy, but still enjoy the convenience and coolness factor of eating from a can? All In One is a project by designer Chris Godfrey who packed an entire 12-course meal into a can.

And, rather than 12 layers of typical canned fare, Godfrey classed it up a bit with the following layers:

  1. Selection of local cheeses with sourdough bread
  2. Pickled Kobe beef with charred strawberry
  3. Ricotta ravioli with a soft egg yolk
  4. Shitake mushroom topped with filled peppers
  5. Halibut poached in truffle butter in a coconut crepe
  6. Risotto foraged ramps, prosciutto and fresh parmesan
  7. French onion soup with fresh thyme and gruyere cheese
  8. Roast pork belly and celeriac root puree
  9. Palate cleanser, pear ginger juice
  10. Rib eye steak with grilled mustard greens
  11. Crack pie with milk ice cream on a vanilla tuile
  12. French canele with a malt barley and hazelnut latte

Portraits Painted With Coffee on Antique Ledger Paper

coffee-3

Coffee, besides helping us feel less rage in the morning, has become a great art medium. Now, artist Michael Aaron Williams has taken coffee art a bit further by going old-school — with a series of portraits painted on ledger paper that dates back to the 1920s and 30s.

The weathered paper adds the perfect backdrop to the brown, amber and copper hues of the coffee, while Williams’ partial portraits complete the antique feel. See more of Williams’ work at his Facebook page.
