They Don’t Make Cookbooks Like They Used To

Discovered by Russell Jones and covered on his blog, Balanced Recipes by Pillsbury is a vintage 1933 recipe book. Made from stamped aluminum, recipes could be protected from the elements or small bomb attacks.

Great for those who take their recipes seriously — even if it’s for something called Thimble Anchovy Biscuits.
