The Greatest Food Culture Site Ever*
Fall must be approaching, because creepy stuff and baked goods seem to be everywhere. Inspired by People Pot Pies from a few weeks ago, Andrew Fuller of Guy Meets Cake has made a singular, equally-creepy Face Pie.
The cherry filling lends itself nicely to the dripping gore, while well-placed layers of crust and detail is the stuff of sweet nightmares. Make a similar pie for Thanksgiving to freak out grandma.

With the film version of Fifty Shades of Grey finally unleashed, the harsh reviews and parodies of the film are plentiful. Which leads us to 50 Shades of Food by photographer Bryan Regan.
The series, juxtaposing submissive humans for food items, includes a donut on a butt plug, a nimple-clamped lemon, and a poor little tied-up honey bear. At the very least, 50 Shades of Food could be a bit hunger-inducing… whether you’re “into that sort of thing” or not.

From Sideserf Cake Studio, the maker of the eerily lifelike Willie Nelson Cake, is the bloody creepy mess of the Severed Head Wedding Cake.
It was created for a couple’s ceremony in Austin, and the groom’s love of horror movies. Unfortunately, it’s not filled with red velvet and cherries. That would’ve been creepy. Mazel tov, you crazy kids.
