Fall must be approaching, because creepy stuff and baked goods seem to be everywhere. Inspired by People Pot Pies from a few weeks ago, Andrew Fuller of Guy Meets Cake has made a singular, equally-creepy Face Pie.
The cherry filling lends itself nicely to the dripping gore, while well-placed layers of crust and detail is the stuff of sweet nightmares. Make a similar pie for Thanksgiving to freak out grandma.

What’s with all of the creepy face-food lately? Last week, it was grotesque pot pies with faces, now, it’s time to ruin dessert with Baby Face Macarons.
Although, we can’t seem to find the baker responsible for these, it was submitted by reddit user Probono_Bonobo. Just so you’ll have someone to blame the night terrors on.

Although the pies come in a variety of horrifying faces, some of the accoutrements such as teeth and the tongue can be added for effect. Created by Jen (wold630 on Instructables), the cookies are made possible with a simple chocolate chip cookie recipe. Then you can add the creep factor with eyes, teeth and fake blood.
