The Colonel Sanders Vintage Halloween Costume Will Get You All The Candy

October 11, 2017 by Chris Durso

If you’re still not sure what to be for Halloween, and wouldn’t mind kicking it old-school, The Colonel Sanders Costume is here to help.

Officially-titled, Halloween Harland, the costume will not only disguise you as the world’s greatest chicken salesman, but the mask and bib pays tribute to those dime store Halloween costumes from the 70s. The Halloween Harland set is available at the KFC Store, with KFC Trick or Treat Buckets available at participating restaurants after Oct. 27th.

Hopefully, your neighbors don’t participate in this vintage Halloween theme, or you’ll probably be getting spare change and NECCO Wafers in your basket.

Kids (and brown-bagging adults) need somewhere to store their lunch. And, what better way to do it, than to go old-school? All the cool kids are doing it.

The Lunch Bot Robot Lunch Box is designed to look like a vintage robot, and will gladly hold anything you can stuff in his tin body. Be cool… Bring a Lunch Bot to school.

Lunch Bot is available at The Foodiggity Shop. Made from non-corrosive tin, with a durable PVC plastic handle. Approximately 9.5″ x 6.5″ x 3.5″. Eager to serve.

A Vintage Kitchen Made Entirely of Yard and Felt

January 12, 2015 by Chris Durso

Yarn-bombing is all the rage. For example, there’s a good chance that someone is yarn-bombing your house right now.

But when covering something in yarn is done in the name of art, we get something like a vintage kitchen made entirely of yarn. Brought to us by a few Australian artists, they transformed the foyer of the Warwick Art Gallery into a very fluffy and ephemeral kitchen.

From a yarn turkey and jam jars, to a crocheted stove and sink… the project was created by upwards of fifty artists and took about seven months. Your house, however, should be covered by the time you get home.

Tic Tacs As Vintage Video Games

July 30, 2014 by Chris Durso

1

Tic Tacs have been around so long, that people were enjoying them when Pac-Man was still fun. To help pay homage to the antiquated technology and breath mint, the Miami Ad School created a series of ads of vintage video games made from Tic Tacs.

From candy Pac-Man and Snake to an Arkanoid board, the ads were probably fun to assemble. Not more fun than actually playing Arkanoid though… those bricks were crazy.

Say Cheese, Get Cheese With The Polaroid Cheese Slicer

June 16, 2014 by Chris Durso

say-cheese

Imagine the next time you say “cheese” to a camera, you actually receive some. The Say Cheese Slicer is here to make it happen.

Made to look like a vintage Polaroid camera, the slicer will gladly deliver you a fresh slice of dairy product. The best part… Once the cheese comes out, you don’t have to shake it to make it work. You will however, have a lot of people smiling at you and saying “cheese.” More so than if it were a real camera.

The Say Cheese Slicer is available The Foodiggity Shop. [$11.99]
