Surf Pops, Popsicles with Mini Surfboards as Sticks

August 3, 2012 by Chris Durso

To help promote the opening of the Deep Craft Atelier pop-up in San Francisco, Thought for Food created Surf Pops. Inspired by the surf-centric shop and its surroundings, Thought for Food came up with a trio of popsicles and packaging.

Flavors were made to reflect the sun, sand, and sea*, while traditional popsicle sticks were replaced with mini wooden surfboards. Even the coolers that helped distribute the Surf Pops were an homage to the local beach vendors, and 60s-era California.

*Sun (habanero peppers, lime, mango), Sand (almond, black sesame, caramel), Sea (cucumber, vanilla, mint).
