Zombie Ice Pops May Cause Braaaaaaains Freeze

August 6, 2018 by Chris Durso

If movies have taught us anything, it’s that zombies prefer their brains warm. So, how ironic that eating a few zombies may protect your noggin?

Zombie Ice Pop Molds are here in time for the apocalypse, ready to give you that protective brain freeze if you eat yours fast enough. Go for their heads first… the movies said so.

Scratch and Sniff Stamps Are Here To Save The U.S. Postal Service

May 24, 2018 by Chris Durso

Mail is about to smell a whole lot better. Scratch and Sniff Stamps are being launched by the U.S. Postal Service, perhaps in an effort to compete with other carriers whose deliveries will still smell like mail.

The interactive stamps will feature an array of popsicles such as chocolate, kiwi, watermelon, root beer, blueberry and cola. It also wouldn’t hurt to include a “Good Job” scratch and sniff on your envelope, just to let your mailman know that you appreciate him.

“Frozen Treats Forever” stamps will be available on June 20.

Polluted Water Popsicles Are No Treat

June 7, 2017 by Chris Durso

To draw attention to Taiwan’s water pollution issues, art students Hung I-chen, Guo Yi-hui, and Cheng Yu-ti created Polluted Water Popsicles.

Although the sight of a popsicle stick makes people want a tasty frozen treat, these are not meant to be eaten. The polluted popsicles were made after the students collected actual water samples throughout Taiwan.

The dirty water was then preserved in resin, along with anything that was floating around in there — including bottle caps, wrappers and other random garbage. Yuck-sicle!

Pickle Popsicles Are Our Pick For Piquant Push-Pops

May 17, 2017 by Chris Durso

Pickle Popsicles are nothing new, but the trend of pickle juice in places it shouldn’t be is. Therefore, Van Holten’s Pickle Ice will be refreshing and hydrating the people this summer.

Besides the novelty, Pickle-Ice is actually loaded with electrolytes and anti-inflammatory turmeric — making them a popular choice of athletes. Look for them at Wal-Mart this summer, or right now on Amazon.

How To Make Deadly Retractable Wolverine Claws With Popsicle Sticks

April 26, 2017 by Chris Durso

That box of popsicles may be long-gone, but the desire to impale things remains. Luckily, The Q has figured out how to make a deadly set of Wolverine claws out of popsicle sticks.

After much cutting and glueing, the user is armed with three retractable claws. Although these wooden versions, that are held together with glue, won’t necessarily make you part of the X-Men — they could cause some minor scratches, or used to violently pop some balloons.

Especially if said balloons are trying to steal your popsicles. Please watch.
