Rainbow sprinkles… They’re not just for making vanilla ice cream tolerable anymore. Apparently, they make for some fun street repair.
The impromptu crack-filling is the handiwork of artist Dave S. Pettengill. Meant to be more of a temporary art piece than an actual fix, “A Valentine to Philly” hopefully made a few Philadelphians smile.
As long as they didn’t step on it… even sprinkled cracks have been known to break your mother’s back. True story.
Here at Foodiggity, we’ve seen some pretty awesome food art. But none has dared to use tiny sprinkles to recreate one of the most beautiful and iconic paintings in recorded history.
Created by the extremely patient cake designer, Michelle Wibowo, Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam was painstakingly reproduced using about 500-million colored sprinkles, frosting, and around 10,000 marshmallows.
The project took Wibowo 168 hours to complete. And, the best part… You don’t have to look up at the ceiling to check it out. And sprinkles.
Unicorns may or may not exist. But one thing that cannot be disputed, is that they defecate rainbows. The Unicorn Sprinkles Shaker is here to help perpetuate this fact, by conveniently storing and distributing colorful sprinkles over anything that needs some unicorn magic.
Sure, you could fill your Unicorn Sprinkles Shaker with chocolate sprinkles, but that just wouldn’t be realistic.
Just when we thought that the cupcake craze was out, something like the 24-hour Cupcake ATM comes along and pulls us back in.
Brought to us by Sprinkles — who some credit/blame for starting this imperishable food trend in the first place — the Cupcake ATM has been installed in front of their Beverly Hills location. Converted and painted pink, the former cash machine dispenses cupcakes and several other items from the store, 24/7. But what, no drive-up? This is LA.
The official word from Sprinkles:
This automatic cupcake machine dispenses freshly baked cupcakes, cupcake mixes, apparel and even cupcakes for Fido! In the heart of Beverly Hills nestled between Sprinkles Cupcakes and the brand new Sprinkles Ice Cream, 24 Hour Sprinkles will be continuously restocked day and night with a variety of freshly baked cupcake flavors.
The problem with ordinary rainbow sprinkles, is that regardless of the color, they actually all taste the same. And that flavor is of pure nothingness. The folks at BraveTart are here to help.
