Applegate Farms wants you to know that their beef is hormone, antibiotic, and pharmaceutical free. And what better way to get the point across, than with commercials starring grown men dressed as cows?
During a few job-interview-type meetings set up by concerned moms, the man cows — made to represent the average, non-Applegate bovine — have trouble hiding their dependencies. Needless to say, none get the job. But they’re also too stoned to realize it.

Food Type is a project brought to us by Barcelona-based artist Nuria Bringué Bergua. The study of food as font is part of a collection of books on healthy eating. Nuria cut each letter out of their respective food group, and typeset the words without the help of Photoshop, to create the cover of each book.

Bringing finger sandwiches to a new and disturbing level, are Hand Sandwiches by The Daily Goodie Bag. Using ordinary frozen dinner rolls, and making sure to stack a right and a left hand together — the sandwich will look like it’s clapping together some lunch meats. And kids can use their own hands to make a turkey sandwich.

Created for a New York-based butcher shop called Japan Premium Beef, Chicago-based design shop ODL whipped up some Meat Balloons. Made from latex, then hand-painted to resemble various cuts of meat, each balloon took about three hours to make.
Too bad they’re not available for your next meat-themed party. The best part would be hiring a clown to turn them back into animals.
