The Doublet, A Double-Sided Wine Glass For Reds and Whites

doublet_01

If you’re not sure whether you’ll be serving a red wine or a white wine, you could just have an appropriate glass available for each. But that sounds like a lot of work.

The Doublet is an ingenious way to save you some trouble, by providing a compartment for both reds and whites. Even an official oenophile or self-proclaimed wine snob could appreciate the convenience.

The design is currently only a concept. So, in the meantime, have all of your glasses at the ready for when the wine snobs come over.

A Special Glass To Help Coca-Cola Taste Better Exists

coke-glass

Until now, we’ve been left to drink our beloved Coca-Cola out of regular non-fancy glasses, or straight from the two-liter. Well, no more.

Coca-Cola and glassmaker Riedel teamed up to design a drinking vessel that they hope will make your Coke taste better.

Just like the wine glasses that Riedel are best known for, the new soda glass hopes to enhance your whole Coke-drinking experience. No longer will we miss out on those subtle notes of high fructose corn syrup, and that mid-palate hint of caramel color. Sorry.. Big Gulp Riedels are not available.

Periodic Tableware, Drinkware Designed To Look Like Laboratory Glass

periodic-tableware

Sure, you probably failed high school chemistry… But science is hard. Perhaps Periodic Tableware will help erase the painful memory of accidentally blowing up the science lab, or the time you burnt both yours and your lab partner’s eyebrows off.

The beautifully-designed drinkware is made to look like iconic laboratory glass — including a wine glass, decanter, highball, cocktail shaker, and others. So consider using the drinkware to relive a few memories with old friends. Their eyebrows have probably grown back by now.

Periodic Tableware is currently a Kickstarter campaign. You can find out more about the project and make a pledge here.

Chocolate Beer With an Edible Chocolate Glass

chocolate-beer

Sure, you could drink your beer from a boring ol’ non-edible glass. Unless of course, that beer is a chocolate stout, and Japanese brewery Sankt Gallen is offering an edible chocolate glass to go with it.

Limited quantities were recently available, but the opportunity to eat/drink chocolate was a little hard to resist and they sold out almost immediately.
