Beer and Wine Glasses Made of Cheese Will Get The Cocktail Party Started

Finlandia, cheese-makers extraordinaire, are celebrating their 100th anniversary in style — with beer and wine glasses made entirely of cheese.

Cheeseware as it’s properly-titled, is a set of one wine glass and one beer glass. The set will be available for purchase on Finlandia’s Facebook page for one day only, December 6th. The price for this commemorative and ephemeral drinkware… $5,000. You read that correctly.

ThinkGeek, with help from NASA and the Hubble telescope, has placed these far-out images on drinkware with the Nebula Glass Set. The 4-piece set includes the Veil, Butterfly, Helix and Seahorse nebulae. Earth’s “Dusty Gas Puddle” not included.

Drinkware Transforms Liquid Into The Phases of The Moon

It’s certainly no super blood moon, but these ceramic drinking vessels will take you through the typical phases.

The Moon Glass, by Korean design company Tale Design, is designed especially to turn traditional rice wine, or any light-colored liquid into a crescent, half, or full phase.

And, if you missed the recent Blood Moon because of pesky clouds, use a red liquid to create your own. Check it out here.
