Food, A Movie About Food Starring Food Talking About Food

food-movie-2

In case we forgot to mention, this movie is about food. Food, brought to us by animation student Siqi Song, consists of people talking about the foods they eat, with the visual replaced by lip-syncing foodstuffs.

Who better to talk about how great meat is, than an actual cheeseburger? Although, the film occasionally gets a bit weird. Like when a raw chicken starts talking about making eggplant babies. And, what do coated pretzels know about vegetarianism? Check it out for yourself…

A Supercut of Pizza In Movies

pizza-on-film

The only thing better than pizza and a movie, is perhaps pizza IN a movie. Thankfully, Travis over at Buzzfeed was kind enough to scour through days worth of film so we didn’t have to — creating a supercut of pizza on the big screen. It is also worth noting that we are intentionally spared any footage from Mystic Pizza. Thanks, Travis.

Note: Saucy language starts at around 3:22.

The Ballad of Poisonberry Pete, An Animated Western Starring Pies

The Ballad of Poisonberry Pete is an animated short film that follows a day in the life of a villainous pie in the wild west. Filled with dramatic shots and topped with great music — in the end, someone gets their just ‘desserts.’ Did we mention that the film is laden with pie puns?

The film was created by a few graduates of Ringling College of Art and Design. Enjoy.
