Wardrobe Snacks, A Vintage Photo Series of Clothes Matching Foods

wardrobe-snacks-main

Wardrobe Snacks is a photo collaboration between photographer Kelsey McClellan and prop/set stylist Michelle Maguire. The series follows a few casual diners, with meals that perfectly match their outfits. The eaters also seem quite content with having no table to rest their meals on — with only their polyester-laden laps to catch any spills or crumbs.

Although there’s an abundance of polyester, elastic waistbands, and the Kodachrome look of the photos — the series was done recently. At least any spilled food will clean up easily off that casual-wear. See more Wardrobe Snacks here.

An Edible Ugly Christmas Sweater Exists

edible-sweater

The ugly Christmas sweater trend may be getting a bit boring. So, perhaps it’s time to kick it up a notch, and start making them edible.

Baker and food stylist, Juliet Sear, feels the same way, and has created an edible ugly Christmas sweater. The garish holiday attire consists of 22 pounds of icing, 11 pounds of marzipan, and over 2 pounds of chocolate. I see a new trend forming here.

Clothes As Food, An Ad Series Encouraging You To Donate Your Wearables

campanha_agasalho_sushi_aotw

Shopping Itaguaçu is an advertising initiative encouraging people to donate clothes to the needy. Brought to us by Brazil-based BZZ Propaganda, clothes are formed into yummy-looking food, asking that we not let our old wearables turn into moth-feed.

“Don’t let your clothes turn into food for moths. Donate.
Leave your donations at the mall until July 1st and let them warm the most needy.”
