Mason Jar Beer Tap Handle

May 1, 2013 by Chris Durso

Mason jars have been used to mix cocktails, dispense your candy, and occasionally do some masonry-type stuff. Now, they’re here to help pour your beer with The Mason Jar Beer Tap Handle. Created by Etsy member, William Reeves, the pint Ball Jar is fitted with the proper attachment to place on any beer tap.

The best part… The lid is still removable, so you can place whatever you’d like inside your new beer tap handle. Might we suggest beer?

January 24, 2013 by Chris Durso

OK, hipsters. We didn’t mind when you created a cocktail shaker out of a mason jar, or when you turned your signature container into a travel mug. But Mason Jar Salads? And, according to Gothamist, this movement didn’t originate in Brooklyn?!? I don’t even know you anymore, hipsters. Enjoy your little jarred salads… We’re outta here.

But seriously — people apparently love these. And when we say “people,” we mean Pinterest-trolling vegans. There’s also a proven method to the perfect jar-o-salad — see below.

The Mason Jar Cocktail Shaker

July 30, 2012 by Chris Durso

We’ve shown you how to turn a mason jar into a travel mug. Now, the ubiquitous glass container can help make a bit stiffer of a drink, with the Mason Shaker. Combining their love of “fine cocktails and classic Southern style,” the design duo of Josh and Eric came up with a prototype for a strainer, outer rim, and cap attachment.

So, what was once used as the go-to container for backwoods moonshine, can now help make your fancy drinks in the comfort of your home. Currently in its Kickstarter phase, The Mason Shaker has far surpassed its target goal. So, keep an eye out for it soon, and you’ll be drinking ironically in no time.
