Vanishing Fruitwash Labels, by Amron Experimental, turn into a produce-cleaning soap when rubbed with water — helping to remove wax, pesticides, dirt and bacteria found on our apples and pears.
Montreal-based artist Olivier Lefebvre recently paid homage to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, by creating a portrait using 3750 apples. And before anyone starts crying “food waste”, the mosaic consists of deer apples — meaning that they’ve already fallen from the tree, and started to decay. You learn something new every day here.
