Ron Jeremy Makes Rum Now

April 27, 2011 by Chris Durso

Ron de Jeremy Rum is brought to us by master blender Francisco Fernandez, best known for producing Havana Club, Abuela and Zafra. The rum is named after the equally sophisticated Ron Jeremy, best known for screwing on camera.

Billed as an ‘Adult Rum’, opposed to the stuff they give the kids, Ron de Jeremy Rum is a light amber color with very attractive copper hues. The aroma is indicative of a carefully aged rum, with a harmoniously balanced orchestra of oak, fruit and spices on the nose. On the palate it opens up smoothly, showcasing a high level of craftsmanship.

There was also something about a ‘finish’, but does anyone want to go there?
