Bruce Lee — martial artist, philosopher, movie star, and kicker of many asses — died in 1973. But if technology has taught us anything, it’s that if there’s a product to sell, we can virtually dig someone up to be a digital spokesperson.
To help promote its Blue Label drink in China, Johnnie Walker digitally-recreated Lee, and somehow tied-in his “Be Water” philosophy to drinking whiskey.
So is this recreation of Lee awesome, creepy, or creepily awesome? Either way… Be water, my friend.
Artist Milena Korolczuk, recently took a fun break from her work in film and photography, and found a use for Wonder Bread. Using the poor-man’s Play-Doh, Korolczuk sculpted the heads of famous figures, including Andy Warhol, Jay-Z, Plato, Abramović, and Walt Disney.
Thankfully, the crusts are cut off in advance, so kids can enjoy some Wonder Bread art too. See more here.
The last we saw of David Hasselhoff, he was peddling The Hoffsicle — a popsicle in his likeness. Well, The Hoff has a new gig in shameless promotion, with the cheese-laden endorsement of an iced coffee.
Appropriately named Iced Hoffee, Hasselhoff can be seen in the video, Thirsty For Love, surfing with a coffee and singing with coffee in front of a fire… Basically, being The Hoff. Iced Hoffee can be yours at a Cumberland Farms near you — background fire not included.
