Celebrities In Ramen Is Exactly What It Sounds Like

Ramen is comforting. Celebrities in Ramen, therefore, is comforting and somewhat disturbing.

The Instagram account takes the concept of a nothing-but-ramen feed and kicks it up a notch. Not only can you expect The Rock waist deep in your noodle bowl — but Johnny Depp, U2 and Ellen DeGeneres can be found swimming around. See more below and over at Instagram.

Large Portraits of Famous People Created with Donuts

Alfred_for_website
“What, me doughy?”

Up close, we see donuts… and that’s a good thing. However, if we take a step back, and/or squint real hard, portraits of famous people start to appear… and, that’s even better.

Created by artist, Candice CMC, the large-scale works are created with photos of thousands of donuts, using a pointillist-type technique to help the images come together.

Have some wall space and like donuts? Prints of the donut portraits are on sale here.

Paintings of Celebrities On Sandwiches For Some Reason

celebs-on-sandwiches

Most celebrities strive to have a sandwich named after them. So, a painting series of famous people posing with various sandwiches makes perfect sense.

Celebs on Sandwiches is the series nobody asked for, but it’s now out there, and we cannot look away. From Ellen DeGeneres on a grilled veggie wrap and Taylor Swift on a fried chicken sandwich, to Bernie Sanders on a meatball sub and Aziz Ansari on a turkey panini.

The watercolor paintings, by L.A.-based artist Jeff McCarthy, are available for sale, and are now the new measure of fame.

Celebrities As Cute Food Puns

If celebrities and the questionably famous were made from food, they’d probably need to be renamed appropriately. Artist Justine Morrison knows this, and has created this fun illustration series of celebrity food puns.

For example, if Brad Pitt was made from baked dough, he’d be Bread Pitt. And, who wouldn’t want to hang with the Wonton Clan. See more below and over at Instagram.

Famous People and Pop Culture Characters Made From Peanuts

hendrix

Steve Casino is a ‘painter of nuts.’ And, rather than squandering his talent on walnut landscapes or abstract cashews, Casino puts it to use creating celebrity peanuts.

Casino hand-paints anyone from Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Lee, and Hulk… recreating the subject’s likeness to perfection, while adding equally disproportionate limbs. So much better then tacky walnuts.
