A new animated short film by Annie Leonard tells the not-so-flattering story behind bottled water. The film carries an environmental message and discusses reasons behind our enchantment with the product — including what she calls ‘Manufactured Demand’. We are also urged to just say ‘no’ to the bottle and go back to the tap.

They make a strong case by displaying a collection of some of the greatest cheeseburgers ever made. Not to mention providing an uber-cool website to shuffle through, and narration by that guy who played The Tick. You’re welcome.

Fernando Altamirano, who has brought us the world’s most expensive cognac bottle, is now selling the world’s most expensive bottled water. Each bottle supposedly contains spring water gathered from France and Fiji, glacier water from Iceland, and a splash of gold dust (~Douche Chill~).

A new jewelry line launched by Kotik uses ‘precious metal’ in the form of various beverage packaging. We couldn’t help but go ahead and rethink the traditional wedding anniversary gift schedule.
It should also be interesting to see if your relationship can endure your first anniversary gift of bottle caps. Newlyweds can be so shallow.
