Bacon Fried Twinkies Are Filled With Creme and Porky Goodness

bftbite

It’s not even State fair season… and already, people are wrapping stuff in bacon and deep-frying it. Amy from Oh, Bite It! needs no excuse to bacon-wrap stuff, so she’s recently unleashed Bacon Fried Twinkies.

The recipe and technique is simple. The result is anything but… A crunchy pork shell trying to contain its sponge and creme innards. Enjoy some of your own year-round… nobody has time to wait for the fair to roll around.

This Is The Most Australian Cake To Ever Australia

australian-cake

If you’re going to celebrate Australia Day, then you better have a worthy cake, mate. Cakes By Colleen knows how to get the Aussie party started, with a layered cake depicting a few of the most Australian things ever.

It starts at the bottom with shrimps on a flag-adorned barbie — followed by a jar of Vegemite, a meat pie and a lamington on top. The only thing that could make this cake any more Australian, is if a koala and kangaroo fought over the first slice.

Doritos Roses Are Nacho Average Valentine’s Day Gift

doritosroses

The obligatory day of love fast approaches and, at the time of this writing, there may be no better way to express yourself, than with a bunch of long-stemmed Doritos.

Doritos Canada is offering delivery of their nacho chips, carefully arranged into something that makes it look like you care. The catch… they are only available in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. And, they’re the canuck-friendly ketchup-flavored chips.

The good news… those outside of Canada can make their own by scouring a Doritos bag for a few curly chips. That way, you can make a bouquet of Cool Ranch, to let your valentine know that it’s getting serious.

‘C’ Is Now For Cookie Monster Bark

Cookie-Monster-6

Cookies had a good run but, for the record, the letter “C” will now stand for Cookie Monster Bark. That’s because we seem to have found a major upgrade to the standard cookie, that even a certain blue muppet could not deny.

Cookie Monster Bark is brought to us by Serene from House of Yumm. The awesome chocolate bark is made with a few simple ingredients — including blue chocolate, cookies and the requisite googly eyes.

Check out the tutorial below or here, and make your own.
