The Christmas spirit hasn’t hit full stride yet, so pumpkin spice still rules. But, what exactly is in your Pumpkin Spice Latte or Pumpkin Pie Pringles? SPOILER ALERT: It ain’t pumpkin.

Not only do most food items that claim pumpkin flavoring not contain any actual pumpkin — they probably don’t even contain the actual spices typically used to accompany the bland orange vegetable.
