This Photo of M&Ms Does Not Use Photoshop

January 16, 2014 by Chris Durso

original

Adobe Photoshop is an indispensable creative tool. But the digital manipulation software, when in the wrong hands, can be used for pure evil — such as for blackmailing purposes, or to make a celebrity or model look like they’re completely made from plastic.

So, it’s good to see someone bypass Photoshop completely — instead using good old-fashioned photo technique and creativity. Take this photo of M&Ms by Patrick on Flickr. It would be easy to pass the image off as an abuse of the rubber stamp tool and various filters. However, it’s nothing more than a bowl of candies under a glass covered in water droplets.
